Commonly Asked Questions About Our Process and Website Builds

We’ve compiled answers to common questions about our web design services, from project timelines to technical support. If you don’t find the information you need, feel free to contact us directly—we’re here to help!

How long does a typical website project take?

Project timelines can vary depending on the scope and complexity, but most small to medium-sized websites take around 8-12 weeks. We’ll provide a custom timeline at the start of the project, keeping you updated at each stage so you know exactly where we stand.

Do you offer SEO as part of your web design services?

Yes, we incorporate on-page SEO best practices, such as optimized title tags, meta descriptions, responsive design, and speed-optimized pages to ensure your website is search-engine friendly.

Will I be able to make updates to the website myself after it’s live?

A central aim of our website build strategy is to ensure that they are easy to modify and enhance. We’re happy to provide instruction for utilizing our editing system. If you ever need help, we’re just an email away.

Will my website be mobile-friendly and responsive?

Definitely! A fully responsive website (a website that looks good on any device and screen size) isn’t an optional feature for websites. Responsive and mobile-friendly websites are required for user-friendliness, and how well a website presents itself across a variety of screen sizes impacts how well your site ranks in search engines. Every website we build is designed and built to work optimally across all devices.

How do you price your website builds?

We mainly charge by the website section, which keeps estimating easy and transparent. A section can be thought of as a horizontal section across a page, that has related content. For instance this list of frequently asked questions is a single section. A typical page has between three and six sections, but larger, more robust pages may have more, and simple pages may only have one or two sections. Pricing for sections depends on what type of a section it is, but can generally range between $100 and $350. Some more fully-custom sections may cost more depending on the complexity. In addition to the sectional prices, for new websites we charge $950 for the initial home page design draft (design for everything thereafter is included in the module pricing).

Do you offer payment plans or require a full payment upfront?

For full website projects, we’ll collect $500 as an initial down payment, and an additional $450 after sending the first home page design draft. After the initial $950, all pricing is based on the section. We will send an invoice every two weeks for any sections that have been completed during that billing cycle.
